Consultation

Jennifer Tabois is a Registered Nurse and Certified Colonic Hydrotherapist, trained by the Scottish School of Colonic Hydrotherapists. Jennifer became a colonic hydrotherapist after 13 years of nursing, working as a nursing sister. Like many of us the strain of working long hours within a stressful environment and eating an unhealthy diet whilst ‘on the go’ with little exercise, Jennifer suffered from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Candida and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Following investigations and treatments, searching for a cure with little success, Jennifer opted for a more holistic approach - colonic hydrotherapy and lifestyle changes. Jennifer became so passionate about her results she wanted to share her success and became a Colonic Hydrotherapist. Jennifer is currently studying to become a Nutritional Therapist and a Vegan and Vegetarian Nutritional Therapist.

Jennifer was featured on Gillian McKeiths Channel 4 ‘You are what you eat’ performing a colonic on a client in March 2006.

Preparation for Treatment
48 hours leading up to your treatment avoid fizzy drinks and drink plenty of water. For better results (optional) also avoid caffeine, alcohol, red meat and dairy foods. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and drink at least 2 litres of water. If you are constipated you may take golden linseeds (available in health shops and some supermarkets) every morning 7 days or more, prior to treatment. Soak 2 tsp’s-2 tbsp’s of golden linseeds in hot water overnight and drink the seeds and water down first thing in the morning. Make sure you drink plenty of water throughout the day to enhance their effect.

Prior to your treatment have a light meal - try not to eat too much before your treatment however make sure you do not miss a meal.
